A Kross Levi Silvanie

Levi Silvanie is an independent singer-songwriter from Willemstad who later moved to the Netherlands and now works from Rotterdam. He blends jazz and pop and sings in English and Papiamentu. He describes himself as a music maker, writer and creative entrepreneur.

His first EP, Prèt Di Paden, came out in 2010, followed by Free to Be (2013), the single Sigui Stima with Willem Blankenburgh (2016), Take Flight (2016, also recorded live at the Luxor Theater in Rotterdam in 2020) and the album De Rotterdam Live Sessies (2022), among others. According to Curaçao.nu he has shared the stage with Nile Rodgers and Sting, among others.

In 2023 he spoke openly about a hard period in his life, after which music became central again; he hopes his story can help others. In Rotterdam he hosts The Album Experience, small listening sessions in his studio around an album of thirteen songs about setbacks and recovery, with background to the lyrics, questions from the audience and a short unplugged set. You pay what you want, because in his view mental wellbeing should be within everyone's reach. His new project is called gs'me:miss.
