On screen now · Podium Klassiek special
The NTR made a whole episode of Podium Klassiek around my repertoire. I begin where it all started: with O cessate di piagarmi by Scarlatti, the aria I sang when I was fifteen. Then a Monteverdi duet with Ruben Hein, an Antillean waltz by Wim Statius Muller and a Gershwin to say goodbye. Fifty minutes of music that shaped me, and the people I make it with.

The programme
The podcast · First episode coming soon
At the table sit people who set things in motion. Makers, thinkers, builders, working in culture, in education, with vision and on nation building. The subjects that have never let go of me in all these years.
How do you live on an island with your eyes on the world? And how does that world look back at us? I talk to international guests, and to islanders who have gone far internationally. What do they dream of? And what turns out, time and again, to be something we share?
Each episode is named after the guest sitting across from me. The first seven have been recorded.

Conferences & symposia
I keep your programme on track. Conference, panel discussion, gala or symposium: I prepare on the subject, hold the pace and make sure the room stays with you. A chair who comes from the creative world looks differently at a programme, and at the people in the room.
I work in four languages: Dutch, English, Spanish and Papiamentu. Within a single programme I switch easily between two or three of them, which is useful with international speakers or a mixed audience.

For singers and conservatoires
A voice is technique, but a singer is more than a voice. In my masterclasses I work on what comes after the technique: what do you want to say with this song, why are you standing there, and how do you make sure a room hears it.
